For those who have perfected the art of being alone Redverz Gear introduces a one-person tent, The Solo Expedition Motorcycle Tent.  The original Redverz design has shed a few pounds and inches, resulting in a more compact tent with a 230cm x 105cm sleeping area, just right for a single camper. The legendary Redverz garage remains unchanged at 260cm x 90cm with area-wide headroom, tall enough to stand in and house a fully loaded adventure or cruiser bike.

With one-person capacity, The Solo Expedition Motorcycle Tent is designed specifically for the lone camper. The slimmed down version of the industries original motorcycle tent affords a solo rider the luxury of a garage to park the bike, a workshop to make repairs or a lounge to wait out a storm.

Solo travel is simple, uncomplicated and intensely rewarding - so is The Solo Expedition Tent.  Two-pole construction makes for fast and easy set up and one less pole lightens the load.  Double-wall construction and a bathtub floor in the Solo sleeping bay affords maximum comfort and protection in a smaller foot print.  230cm by 105cm to be exact.   At just 370cm in length overall, the Solo Expedition Tent fits more easily into smaller predetermined camp spaces and with a lighter pack weight than previous designs, The Solo is ideal when every ounce counts.

The flexible hoop design is rated for 3-seasons and offers unbeatable performance in wind and rain.  4000mm hydrostatic head on the outer fly and 10,000mm waterproofing on the sleeping bay floor keep riders dry and secure.  Multi-functional doors combine a privacy panel and mesh to allow for either complete closure or bug protection and ventilation.

The Redverz garage design remains unchanged at 206cm by 90cm.  Your bike will fit.  Your lounge will be spacious.  Your workshop will be ample.

Redverz Solo Expedition Motorcycle Tent

I have the Solo and the Atacama and both are great. I also bought the ground covers and recently the awning kits and expedition bags. The products are well thought out, a little pricey but for the long haul you get what you pay for.

Awesome tent once it's up, but...

My ONLY complaint with this tent is the grommets for the poles should be marked. Once you lay the tent out and stake the sleeping side, the search begins for the correct grommets for the tent poles. There are several grommets to choose from, and I had to move the poles to the correcr grommets a few times. Disclaimer: I've set tent up only once so far just to see how difficult it is, so I'm sure it will get easier every time, and I will mark the grommets. I would still recommend the tent to anyone.

      A Moto cycle tent

Seriously love this tent. you don't realize how much crap you pack when riding and want to get into a tent at night. I got the groundsheet for the bike bay ( I don't put my bike in there) so all my riding gear doesnt come into my bedroom. packs about the same size as a 3 person tent but with gobs more space. Deducted a star coz these are pricey.

no bugs, dry bike and gear, plenty of sleeping room

Took the solo version on a 30 day trip to Alaska in July-Aug. Got rained on 19 days. It was great to be able to put the bike in the "garage" and get up to dry everything. Also, the ability to stand up in it is a real bonus. One rainy night north of the arctic circle six of us sat on our chairs and panniers in the "garage" portion and had one of the best nights of the trip telling stories and enjoying food and libations in mosquito-free conditions. Bike got wet that night. Love the extra room to put gear. The solo version has plenty of room to sleep and have extra stuff in there. Even though the garage portion is slightly open on the bottom, we didn't have mosquitoes coming in even in the arctic where they were especially numerous. Of course the sleeping area is completely sealed from bugs.

          Tested during a severe thunderstorm

This tent rocks! A bit pricey but sets up with ease, plenty of room inside, being able to stand and store gear is priceless for a tent that packs up so small. Used it for the 1st time at last year's BMW national rally in Hamburg, NY. Put the tent up at midnight with a flashlight between my teeth then 2 hrs later got hit with a severe t storm packing 70 mph straight line winds. The tent survived with no damage. A couple stakes pulled out but other than that I was dry. All you could hear for the next hour was the tink tink of hammers as people put there tents back together.
